Early morning taxi ride to the airport, where the taxi driver gave us a special “Crete” custard pie. Short flight back to Athens, then a short bus ride to Rafina to catch a ferry to Tinos. Mass chaos loading the ferry and choppy water made for an interesting ride. Once on Tinos, we took a taxi to the beach rental. We are in a cute little studio apartment with a short walk to a shallow, sandy beach. The water is quite chilly compared to Crete, but we braved the cold for a refreshing swim.
